Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, congratulated Abdel Rahman Maher for winning the second international place award of the story club in China.

Maher, 11 years, is one of the talents of the National Center for Child Culture affiliated to the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by Dr. Hisham Azmy and under the supervision of the writer Mohamed Abdel-Hafez Nasif.

30 countries participated in this competition, organized by the story club in China; its edition this year was dedicated to raising awareness to fight Corona virus.

Abdel Dayem said that the award is a new global victory added to the Egyptian culture in the creativity of the Egyptian child, especially as it came after a competition with contestants from 30 countries.

Abdel Dayem referred to the fecundity of Egypt, which is capable of preserving the leading position of the homeland regionally and globally.

On his part, Dr. Azmy said that the award came after publishing a video about confronting Corona virus on the YouTube channel of "the National Center for Child Culture" as a part of a program of young people's creativity.

It is noteworthy that ten children were honored in a global celebration via the Internet.

Maher sent a one minute video during which he spoke about his dreams and the role of the Ministry of Culture in supporting him, thanking the Minister of Culture for her sponsorship and support for the distinguished talents.

On the other hand, the writer Mohamed Nassif, head of the National Center for Child Culture, confirmed that ten different works of children of the center participated in this competition among which the video of Maher was chosen to win the second prize.

This reflects the competitive creative abilities of the Egyptian child in the world and the state’s interest in developing talented people.

Nassif added that the announcement ceremony of the prizes included presenting part of the song "Awa Corona", composed by Wael Awad , designed by Abdel Rahman Al-Sheikh, performed by Malik Rida, Yasmine Eid, Youssef Wael and Yahya Wael; it was translated into Chinese.
