Check Direct Transportation to 2019 Book Fair

CAIRO, Jan. 16 (SEE)- Egypt International and Exhibition Center, in the Fifth Sector, is preparing to host the Cairo international Book Fair’s 50th edition. The Fair’s location is not easily accessible for the public. So in order to facilitate the public’s visits, Egyptian General Book Organization made an agreement with Cairo Governorate, Cairo Transportation Authority, and transportation service to offer direct lines to and from the Fair.

To cover Greater Cairo’s areas, there are seven direct lines from the following squares: Abdel Moneim Riad, Al Abassya, Giza, Al Mazalat, Saqr Quraish, Al Amiryia, and Al Nozha Al Gadida. Ticket costs around five pounds.

At the Fair, there is a fixed bus station, to utilize the lines passing through Al Manar’s Center (affiliated to the Armed Forces), with buses passing almost every fifteen minutes, and a price ticket that cost around five pounds. Also there are three lines that belong to the company “Egypt Transportation” from the following squares: Ahmed Helmy, Abdel Monem Ryad, and Saraya Al Qoba, prepared for persons with disabilities, with a 35% discount. The company also dedicated a direct line from Tahrir Station.

With service lines (microbuses), an agreement was made to dedicate direct lines from: Helwan, Ahmed Helmy, Abdel Monem Ryad, Moaassa, and Mazalat. The ticket’s price is from six to eight pounds.
