The head of the US House of Representatives (HoR) Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff considered the tweet of the US President, Donald Trump, about the recent cyber breach as a "flagrant betrayal of national security."

This came in a statement in which Schiff responded to a tweet by Trump in which he accused "false media" of exaggerating an incident that some American institutions were exposed to a cyber-breach, and holding Russia responsible for it.

The head of the Intelligence Committee wrote in a tweet to him on "Twitter": A new day and a new blatant betrayal of our national security by this president,  a new, dishonest tweet that sounds as if it was written in the Kremlin, new flattery of Putin, and new evidence that Trump should leave his office at the earliest.

Earlier today, Trump announced, on Twitter, that the news circulating about the electronic penetration of some American institutions was exaggerated by "false media", and that Russia had nothing to do with it.

A few days ago, American media claimed that pirates "connected to the Russian state" were behind a major breach that targeted a number of institutions in the United States, which the Kremlin denied.

Trump's tweet read: "The cyber breach in the fake media is much bigger than in reality.

I have been fully informed (about the incident) and everything is under control.

Russia ... Russia ... Russia ... the media accuses Russia." Because the main media - Mostly for financial reasons - you avoid discussing the possibility that China is behind it.

He added that there may also be a blow to our ridiculous voting machines during the elections, which clearly show that I have achieved a great victory in them, which is even more confusing for the United States."
