Celebrate Valentine with “Red Velvet Cake”..Here’s Yummy Recipe’

CAIRO Feb 12 (SEE)- When it comes to Valentine’s Day, so baking a fluffy red velvet cake is your best choice. Here’s a delicious recipe' that will not take more than an hour.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups vegetable

oil

1 cup buttermilk, at

room temperature

2 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2

cups sugar

1 tsp

baking soda

1 tsp

fine salt

1 tsp

cocoa powder

2 large

eggs, at room temperature

2 Tbsp

red food coloring

1 tsp

white distilled vinegar

1 tsp

vanilla

Crushed Nuts

for garnish

Cream Cheese mixture

Cream Cheese mixture preparation

1 pound cream

cheese, softened

4 cups powder

sugar

1 cup solid

butter

1 tsp vanilla

In large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar and butter on low speed then increase the speed and mix again until getting light and fluffy mixture.

Add vanilla and continue mixing for a while, then set prepared cream in the refrigerator to be ready after a while.

Cake’s Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Oil and flour three round cake pans.

In a large bowl,

sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.

In other bowl, whisk

 oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring,

vinegar, and vanilla.

Then, add mix ingredients with wet ones till getting a coherent texture.

Divide the cake mixture equally in the 3 round cake pans, then place them all in oven for about 30 minutes.

To make sure they

are well baked, a tooth pick inserted in the center of cakes should come out

clean.

Run a knife around cakes’ edges to loosen them from pans.

After cakes are completely cool and frosted, place 1 out of the 3 layers in the middle of a rotating cake stand, then spread some of the cream cheese over its top using spatula.

Set another layer and repeat the process.

finally, top them all with the last cake layer and cover entire layers with the remaining cream

Sprinkle the top with nuts.
