Liu Jianchao, Foreign department chief of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) praised Egypt’s development, prosperity and progress in recent years under the current leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, especially in terms of rapid infrastructure development.
This came during the Chinese Minister’s reception of Ambassador Mohamed El-Badri, Egypt’s new ambassador to China, and members of the Egyptian Embassy in Beijing.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated – on its official page on Facebook – that the Chinese minister praised the success in presenting realistic visions to raise the standard of living of the Egyptian people, achieve stability and social peace, and withstand the challenges and difficult conditions that the whole world suffers from.
On his part, El-Badri pointed out to the strength of the Egyptian-Chinese relations, which are based on achieving the interests of the two countries and peoples, and adherence to the basic principles that govern international relations.
He stressed the need to continue communication and coordination within the framework of effective Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the various aspects of bilateral relations between Egypt and China, which are witnessing remarkable prosperity and development in all fields, under the vision of the two presidents, President Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
They also discussed various developments at the level of international and regional situations, as well as the visions between the two sides on issues of common interest.
