Canada's Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Howard Njoo has announced that a large proportion of Canadians may receive a Coronavirus vaccine before the end of 2021.

He added that the Canadian Ministry of Health has not yet granted its approval for the two potential vaccines of "Pfizer" and "Moderna".

During a seminar, with the participation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Dr. Njoo said: “Everything is going in a normal way to study the compatibility of these two vaccines with our organizations. We expect to receive vaccines in January or February."

“Of course, we will not receive all vaccines at the same time from the producing companies, and of course we need a program to the vaccination process to reach health workers and the most vulnerable populations."
