Canada's Amb. Discovers Egypt's Folk Food Beauties in Luxor

On Saturday, Canada's ambassador to Cairo Louis Dumas posted a photo for his Egyptian folk cheese recipe, mish, as part of his tour in Luxor.

The ambassador captioned the photo of his mish with "delicious," in addition, the photo depicting the style of traditional breakfast with the presence of traditional bread, cheese, and sliced tomatoes.

Later on, Dumas tweeted a photo of another Egyptian folk Ancient-Egyptian-like recipe which is Egyptian salted and smocked fish known as Ringa, with lemon.

The ambassador is currently touring Luxor and its sites as part of the international campaign Egypt's organized on the occasion of the Avenue of Sphinxes grand opening two days ago.

On Thursday, Luxor lived a phenomenal celebration of bringing the 3000-year-old Opet celebration to life again for one night on the occasion of Opening the Road of Sphinxes.

The audience can detect the big challenges the organizers faced and the sacrifices they made for this ceremony, especially after the blowing success of April’s Golden Royal Parade, therefore, the celebration was amusingly appreciated in internationally.
