Canada will send $ 25 million aid to Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank after the latest violet escalations between Hamas and Israel, CTV News reported on Saturday.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asserted that this aid will go to experienced organizations that could help Palestinians to cope with the aftermath of the latest escalations.

"The recent violence in the region is alarming -- we have all seen the disturbing images of displaced civilians, loss of life, and pain inflicted on families," Trudeau highlighted on Friday.

$ 10 million will help in providing the civilians with food, water, hygiene, and psychological support for children. In addition, $ 10 million will go for supporting reconstruction efforts especially the infrastructure.

Moreover, $ 5 million will be dedicated to peace initiative for helping in enhancing peace between Palestine and Israel.

Canada is not only the non-Arab country that decided to support Palestinian civilians. China announced early this month sending humanitarian aid Gaza.
