The Globe and Mail newspaper reported that Canada will allocate C$15 million (about 11 million US dollars) to Ukraine for the supply of mine-clearing equipment.
"Canada announced yesterday, Monday, the allocation of C$15 million to purchase equipment that Ukraine needs for humanitarian demining,” the newspaper wrote.
The paper added that the funds earmarked for Kyiv will help finance the detection and clearance of landmines, unexploded explosive ordnance, and other explosive remnants of war.
