Retired Hollywood star Cameron Diaz is spending her time at home during the coronavirus pandemic with husband Benji Madden and their three-month-old daughter Raddix.
Diaz was one of the most A-list celebrities in the world who had in March 2018 retired from acting in order to spend more time at home as she did not plan to make any more movies, as well as wanted to be with Madden.
The retired star made a rare appearance to social media on Tuesday as a part of her great friend and "Who What Wear" CEO Katherine Power's Instagram Live, where she addressed how she is coping as a new mother while in quarantine.
Diaz revealed that she has been kinda living in a quarantine life because of her daughter, stating that her life has been completely quiet and still for the last few months, however, she used to be able to have her friends over all the time, but now she does not see anybody.
However, she finds it to be nice, as well as love being in a bubble and in the womb of her home with her husband and cooking,"
"But at the same time it's crazy that you can't go out to the world right now." she added.
Diaz and her husband welcomed their first child on December 30, 2019, but shared the news weeks later on Instagram.
Despite the couple has always maintained a low-key about their personal life, The retired star did gush over motherhood and her "amazing" husband.
Diaz revealed that she loves being a mother, and described it to be the best part of her life,"
"I'm so grateful and so happy and it's the best thing ever and I'm so lucky to do it with Benj and we're having the best time. I'm thrilled. I can't believe it." she added.
As for how she is spending her time, Diaz revealed that she is either cooking, cleaning or taking care of her baby, which all are usually done all at the same time.
Diaz gave a glimpse of her parenting with her husband traveling after they do bath time with their baby and they put her to sleep.
"Benji puts her to bed, he's so good. He's such an amazing father. I'm so lucky he's my baby's father. He's incredible." she added.
As for how she combats feeling blue and the worry about the state of the world, Diaz says she stays in the present, explaining that she doesn't let herself overthink and get scared.
"I stay here and in the now, focusing on what I have right now," she said.
Moreover, Diaz also teased an upcoming project with Power, however, they did not elaborate and said that they would have to just get through the summer.
