The National Authority for Tunnels announced opening the three lines underground for an extra hour as the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations starts today.
Egypt will play their opening match against Zimbabwe at 22 00 CLT.
The underground trains are expected to run from 5:30 a.m till 2:00 a.m.
Mobile clinics will be at all the stations for emergency. Some 15 trains will run during rush hour to avoid crowding.
