"Cairo stadium is ready to host the CAF Champions League semi-finals encounters," he said in statements.

"The stadium is ready for hosting from 5,000 to 10,000 fans for each team, and it will happen under the implementation of the precautionary measures," Darwish added.

"We will set a special gate for the VIP, and another one for the fans, if they will be allowed to attend the matches," the executive director noted.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly will face off Wydad of Morocco on Friday in the second leg of the Champions League last four, while Zamalek will clash against Raja the day after at Cairo stadium.
