A few days ago, Nazih El-Nagary, Egypt's Ambassador in Moscow, met with Mr. Daniel Elgulian, Vice President of the Russian State Development Corporation (VEB.FR).
This came within the framework of the Egyptian Embassy’s follow-up to the developments of the Russian industrial zone project implementation in Egypt.
The Egyptian ambassador stressed that this project is of great interest to both countries, noting that it was agreed, during the meeting, to strengthen joint coordination between the concerned authorities in both Cairo and Moscow to start implementing the 1st phase of the project during the first half of next year.
Moreover, they agreed to organize several events to promote the project, its objectives as well as, the economic opportunities it offers.
For his part, the Vice President of VEB pointed out that many Russian investors have already expressed their desire to invest in the Russian industrial zone project in Egypt, in light of the economic opportunities it provides to enhance the penetration of Russian products to new markets.
