Cairo Book Fair Open Doors for People with Special Needs, Martyrs’ Sons

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, decided to open the doors of Cairo International Book Fair, in its 51st Edition, free of charge for the people with special needs and the children of martyrs of the Armed Forces and police.

Cairo International Book Fair will be held from 22 January to 4 February in Egypt Center for Exhibitions and International Conferences in the Fifth Complex District.

On his part, Dr. Haitham Al-Hajj, head of the Egyptian General Book Authority, said that, according to the directions of the Minister of Culture, the halls of the activities of the Book Fair were provided with equipment for people with special needs to facilitate their visit to the various pavilions and to provide all the necessary services.

It is noteworthy that the 51st edition of Cairo International Book Fair includes 808 pavilions, with the participation of 38 countries and 900 Arab and foreign publishing houses three of which are specialized in the publications of the people with special needs.

The Fair also includes 41 book outlets from Al-Azbakeya Fence. It presents variety of cultural and artistic events, and it is witnessing, for the first time, the publication of an electronic application that includes a program of the full activities and data about the displayed publications and their locations in the different halls.
