Cairo-Aswan Train Derails in Ayyat without Casualties

A train coming from Cairo and heading to Aswan derailed at the village of Kafr Barakat in the city of El-Ayyat, Giza Governorate without injuries.

The Ministry of Health send two ambulances to the scene of the derailment accident, confirming that there were no casualties in the Russian-made train.

The ministry said on Sunday that there were no injuries or deaths in the accident and all the passengers were recovered.

An official source at the railway authority revealed that the cars of train No. 1014 of the "Cairo-Aswan" line are being separated from the carriage to facilitate the process of re-routing the train, pointing out that the central control will put the train to its correct track, and work to return  the normal train traffic in Upper Egypt.
