Egypt and Jordan on Wednesday agreed to build a logistics zone in Jordan to boost trade exchange between the two Arab countries.

Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, met with his Jordanian counterpart Omar Razzaz on the sidelines of the 28th session of the Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee meetings.

The two sides agreed to form a team of Egyptian-Jordanian public and private sectors to establish a logistic zone in Jordan.

The logistic zone aims to export products and development processes to neighboring countries.

Moreover, Madbouli and Razzaz have agreed to promote cooperation in electric connection, gas and oil.

Razzaz pointed to “big opportunities” to boost transport and tourism activities through increasing the number of flights between Egypt and Jordan.
