Morocco's RS Berkane spokesperson Ketabi Al Hussein affirmed that his club is committed to playing the CAF Super Cup against Egypt's Al Ahly outside Cairo, as was scheduled by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) earlier.

Al Hussein said in statements to "Number One" program aired on TV: "CAF has not informed us of the date of Al Ahly clash in the CAF Super Cup yet, and we stick to playing in Qatar as early scheduled,"

He added, "In the event that the Super match is not held in Qatar, we will stick to holding the encounter on neutral soil, so that the chances of the two teams would be equal."

Mohamed Fadl, a member of the committee of five that manages Egypt's Football Association, affirmed that the CAF Super clash will be held in Cairo on the 10th of December.

Al Ahly is set to face RS Berkane after being crowned the CAF Champions League championship at the expense of Zamalek.
