The Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially announced Thursday that Egypt's Zamalek and Morocco's Raja Casablanca clash in the 2nd leg of the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League will be postponed to the 1st of November.

The official CAF website stated that: "The Organizing Committee for Inter-Club Competitions and Management of Club Licensing System has agreed to postpone the return match of the semi-final of the Champions League between Zamalek SC and Raja CA to November 1st, 2020."

"At the same time, Al Ahly SC – Wydad AC match is maintained and the final of the 2019/20 Total CAF Champions League remains scheduled for November 6th, 2020." the statement added.

The decision came after 8 players of the Raja squad contracted Corona virus; this forced the Moroccan Ministry of health to withdraw the team's travel license to Cairo.

White Knights defeated Raja 1-0 through Achraf Bencharki, at the Mohamed V Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals in a hard fought match.

On the other hand, the Red Devils beat Wydad in the first-leg match 2-0, through Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Ali Maaloul.
