CAIRO, Sept. 29 (SEE)- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) halted on Saturday Zamalek's President Mortada Mansour from exercising any football-related activities for a year.
The halt comes following criticisms Mansour made regarding leading CAF officials.
Mansour has been fined $40,000 and a one year halt after he allegedly insulted CAF's President Ahmad Ahmad and General secretary Amr Fahmy.
A note was sent to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) to execute the decision.
Mansour has the right to appeal against the decision within 3 days.
The Egyptian Olympic Committee, headed by Hisham Hatab, also decided to freeze and suspend all activities of Mansour following a verbal assault on the leaders of the committee.
