Confederation of the African Football (CAF) decided, Friday, to deduct six points of Future total points in CAF Confederation Cup's group stage, and fined the club 10,000 due to the participation of Ahmed Refaat with the team.
The CAF expressed that the procedures of enlisting Refaat with the squad were not done correctly after receiving a complaint filed by Pyramids and AS FAR.
Refaat participated in the preliminary round with Future in the tournament, before his loan to UAE's Al Wihda.
After that, he returned to the Egyptian club once again and participated in the group stage.
Future were knocked out of the tournament after being defeated by Pyramids.
