CAF CL Final to Be Held on May.25

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the CAF Champions League (CL) final are set to be held on Monday, May 25.

The final clash will be held for the first time in a neutral country upon CAF recent decision. It also revealed some modifications to the date of some rounds in the group stage.

Egypt’s Al Ahly and Zamalek are taking part in this tournament; Whilst Pyramids and Al Masry are participating in the Confederation Cup.

The Red Devils were pooled in Group B, alongside Platinum (Zimbabwe), Al-Hilal (Sudan), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia), while the White Knights were pooled in Group A, alongside C.D. Primeiro de Agosto,  ZESCO United F.C (Zambia), and  TP Mazembe (DR Congo).

On the other hand, Pyramids and Al Masry were drawn in the same group, alongside Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou and Enugu Rangers of Nigeria.

Here are the New Dates Revealed by CAF:

The Fourth round of the CAF Champions League will be taken place from 10th January until 12th January, instead of 14th, 15th, 16th February.

The fifth round of the same tournament will be held from 24th January till 26th January, whereas the final round of the group stage will be played from January 31st to February 2nd.

The draw for the CAF Champions League last eight will be held on February 9th.

Quarter final 1st leg: from February 28th to March 1st

Quarter final 2nd leg: From March 6th to March 8th

Semi Final 1st leg: From May 1st to May 3rd

Semi Final 2nd Leg: From May 8th to May 9th

Confederation Cup Final: On May 24.

CAF Champions league (CL) Final: On May 25.
