CAF Awards 2019 Ceremony Kicks off [Video]

The 28th edition of the CAF Football Awards ceremony kicked off on Tuesday in Hurghada, Egypt.

The event will celebrate African footballers and officials who have distinguished themselves during the year under review.

The ceremony is currently taking place in the presence of FIFA president Gianni Infantino, CAF President Ahmad Ahmad and a number of African and international football legends.

Senegal’s captains Sadio Mane, Liverpool’s and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and Algeria’s captain Riyad Mahrez were nominated for the final shortlist of the African Player of the Year Award.
