The city’s fire department Chief Darryl Jones expressed that three people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Moreover, the hospital informed local newspapers that no fatalities were recorded among the wounded persons.

According to eyewitnesses, a bus and a car were on the bridge when it fell, and the bus was slipped, therefore, rescuers and the city residents cooperated together to help the passengers on the bus that was about to fall from 150 feet.

In the same context, President Biden inspected the scene of the accident as part of his tour of supporting his $ 1.6 billion bill for infrastructure upgrading.

Biden commented: “The idea that we’ve been so far behind on infrastructure for so many years, it’s mind boggling.”
