American record producer Benny Blanco released Friday his latest song “Bad Decisions”, featuring South Korean pop group BTS vocal line members Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and Snoop Dogg.
“Bad Decisions” is the first single from Blanco’s forthcoming third LP, which is set to be released later this year.
The collaboration was first announced in July in a string of hilarious videos that featured Blanco trying his best to fit in with BTS.
The footage featured Blanco in a video chat with Jin, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook and flat out asking them if he can join the band. “No,” the BTS members immediately say in unison, before Jimin offers a compromise: “But we can make a song together.”
“Let’s make the best song in the entire world,” Blanco replies. “Let’s go!”.
While the official promotions for the new song only began in recent weeks, Snoop Dogg has been promising a collaboration between him and BTS for months.
“I make good music. They make good music, and we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together,” Snoop said of the K-Pop phenomenon at the time.
On July 19, the K-pop superstars were officially announced as the ambassadors for the World Expo 2030 in Busan, Korea.
Ahead of the official appointment, it was reported that the band would be holding a concert to boost South Korea’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan. The event is set to take place in October.
