British Airways announced plans to add a second daily flight on its Heathrow-Cairo route starting October 31.
The price of return fares from London start at £315, and other New York and Los Angeles fares will start at $759.
EgyptAir also operates flights between Cairo International Airport and London Heathrow Airport.
"Our route from London to Cairo is particularly popular with those visiting friends and relatives around the world, which we know is more important than ever for many of our customers," said Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ director of network and alliances.
"The new schedule also provides more options for connecting to the British Airways network across the Atlantic, enabling us to bring more people together."
Services will be powered by the airline's short-haul A320, after operating the route with the B787 Dreamliner, although it had to deploy its A321 again when preemptive checks were carried out on Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines on some aircraft carrier B787-9s.
