On Monday, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry admitted that Azeri forces mistakenly downed a Russian helicopter near its border with Armenia, voicing apologies to Moscow and readiness to pay any compensations.
Russian's Defense Ministry has shortly announced that one of its helicopters was shot down on the territory of Armenia, near the border with a region belonging to Azerbaijan, killing two crew members and injuring another.
