Brazil Thrash Bolivia 5-0 in WC Qualifier

Brazil's national football team kicked off their South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, on Friday evening, with a tremendous five unanswered goals victory over Bolivia.

Samba dancers have led the match first-half with two goals ahead, scored by Marquinhos and Roberto Firmino in the 16 and 30 minutes.

In the second half, Firmino added his second goal, the third for the Samba in the 49th minute, then the fourth goal came from an own goal from Jose Maria Carrasco in the 66th minute. Seven minutes later, Philippe Coutinho concluded the scoring in the match with the fifth goal.

The result took Brazil to the top of the South American qualifying group after just one game, ahead of Colombia, who beat Venezuela 3-0.

In the other group's matches, Uruguay overcame Chile 2-1 on Thursday, and Argentina beat Ecuador 1-0.

Brazil will go to Lima to clash against Peru on Tuesday.
