Braille Labels for the Blind in Gayer-Anderson Museum

The Blind can now enjoy an interesting artifacts’ explanation in Gayer-Anderson Museum through new Braille labels.

The Museum has finally announced the completion of its new service in line with the plan of the ministry of antiquities.

The ministry is looking forward to developing museums and archaeological sites besides helping people with perse abilities.

The new labels will be activated in all halls of the museum starting from June 18th.

The new service’s inauguration will take place in the presence of a delegation of blind people from civil associations and institutions.

It’ll also be celebrated under the supervision of the education department for people with special needs at the museum.

Head of the Museums Sector Elham Salah stated that this kind of labels will help in engaging community and the sustainable development project aimed by the sector.
