US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Cairo next Monday.
In a statment on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Shoukry will receive the US Secretary of State, on January 30, adding that they will hold a press conference following their official talks.
Israeli media also reported that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit Israel and the Palestinian territories.
During his visit, Blinken is set to hold meetings with Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv next Monday, and he will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on Tuesday, in the West Bank.
The Palestinian issue and the Iranian nuclear program are expected to be on Blinken's agenda during the visit.
