President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will hold a meeting together in an attempt to end the tensions between Beijing and Washington.

The talks between both leaders will kick off on Thursday and it will be the fifth round of talks between both countries.

On the other hand, it is expected that the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will pay a visit to Taiwan which set some tensions between two countries, however, no official sources confirmed the plans.

Beijing warned the impact of Pelosi visit on the bilateral ties between both countries.

Member of Wang Yang Politburo Standing Committee said: “no inpidual and no force should underestimate the resolve, the will and the ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity," adding: “stressed the importance of upholding the one China principle."

It is worthy to mention that Biden's meeting with Xi Jinping would be the US President's first duties after recovering from Coronavirus.

US President Joe Biden’s Covid-19 symptoms have almost completely resolved, the white house said, according to a letter from Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

In a note published on the White House website, O’Connor said that the US president, who completed four full days of Paxlovid treatment, on Sunday evening, only suffers from nasal congestion and hoarseness.

The US President’s doctor indicated that his pulse, blood pressure, breathing rate, and temperature are completely normal, adding that his oxygen saturation is “excellent” and his lungs are clear.
