The new president-elect Joe Biden is going to announce the appointments of the upcoming cabinet on Tuesday according to the coming White House chief of staff Ron Klain.
“If you want to know what cabinet agencies they are, who’s going to be in those Cabinet agencies, you’ll have to wait for the president-elect to say that himself on Tuesday,” Klain said in an interview with ABC News.
Biden already announced the members of the coronavirus task force before any senior White House staff members. Last week, Biden decided on the nominees for Treasury Secretary around Thanksgiving.
The candidates for Treasury secretary include economist Lael Brainard, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and Janet Yellen, former chair of the Federal Reserve.
She would be the first female to hold this position. Roger Ferguson, the CEO of TIAA is one of the possible candidates. He would be the first Black person to hold the office.
It is worth to mention, Trump still refuses to accept the final results of the latest presidential race.
