On Sunday, the winning Democratic US President Joe Biden decided to sign the first decisions related to the United States upon assuming power, according to the Washington Post.

"Biden plans immediate flurry of executive orders to reverse Trump policies," the newspaper mentioned, confirming that, “He will repeal the ban on almost all travel from some Muslim-majority countries.”

He will also reinstate the program allowing "dreamers," who were brought to the United States illegally as children, to remain in the country, according to people familiar with his plans.”

It is believed that even though power transfers can always include sudden changes, the shift from Trump to Biden will be among the most impressive events in American history.

"The policy team, the transition policy teams, are focusing now very much on executive power," a Biden ally who has been in touch with his team said. "I expect that to be freely used in the current administration at this point, if the Senate becomes a roadblock."

The Democratic US President declared his victory in the US presidential election, expressing his tremendous honor of "being chosen by the Americans to lead the country.

"I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice President-elect Harris,” The Democratic US President said on Twitter. “ In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted."
