US President Joe Biden told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin: "It is always better to meet face to face," during their highly anticipated summit on Wednesday.

Putin responded with his hopes for having a productive meeting with his American counterpart. Also, the US President described Russia and the US as top forces.

It was reported that various issues were discussed including military issues, international treaties, and cyber attacks.

Both leaders met at the 18th-century prestigious La Grange villa in Geneva. They were welcomed by the President of Switzerland Guy Parmelin. Biden and Putin were accompanied by senior delegations to participate in rounds of discussions.

No mutual summit by the two presidents will be held.
