Latvian security services found the body of Latvian basketball player Janis Timma dead in a hotel in central Moscow.
A report published by Telegram channel 112 confirmed that the cause of death was suicide.
Investigations revealed that a phone was found next to the basketball player's body, on the screen of which appeared a message from his ex-wife, the famous Ukrainian singer Anna Sedokova, asking him to call her again.
Just a week ago, news spread about Anna and Janis' separation, after the duo became famous as a couple for four years and appeared on entertainment TV shows.
Posts spread on social media in which the player talked about his pain, and even mentioned suicidal thoughts, and accused Sedokova of preferring money over their love.
