Banque Misr Presents 1st Digital Loan at Cairo ICT 2020

State-run Banque Misr is actively participating in the activities of the 24th Technology Exhibition Fair and Forum for the Middle East and Africa 'Cairo ICT 2020', currently being held at the International Exhibition Centre in Cairo from 22-25 November.

The bank is keen to participate annually in this event, which is the main platform through which all institutions, bodies, and companies compete to review their latest projects and technological solutions. This remarkable event brings together many companies and institutions with thousands of visitors.

On the sidelines of the event, Banque Misr presented "The Express Loan", the first digital loan to finance small businesses in Egypt. The new credit facility is the first integrated online product in the digital banking sector.

Banque Misr’s clients will not have to head to the on-ground branch to obtain or follow up on the loan, which is considered “the fastest to receive across Egypt” within five days

The bank participated in the exhibition through a state-of-the-art digital pavilion, through which it provided all information to visitors about the bank’s various services and products, with the help of a highly trained team to promote retail banking products and other digital banking services, including; BM wallet, BM Online Internet and Mobile Banking.

The bank is planning to launch the new generation of BM Online Internet and Mobile Banking services, via applying the latest developments and technological innovations in the banking fields.

This comes in line with the current development in the field of communication and information technology, and Banque Misr's belief in the pioneering and effective role of this sector in achieving the economic and social progress as well as the prosperity of society.

The bank has an advanced network of ATM machines reaching around 2700 machines offering withdrawal and deposit services, currency exchange, donations, and other services. Customers can reach the bank around the clock through its official pages on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

For the first time in Egypt, Banque Misr has adopted Artificial Intelligence technologies to offer a ChatBot service through its website to serve customers 24/7.

This interactive service is considered a step forward towards digital transformation where customers can have an interactive conversation with the robot agent at any time without waiting.

It is worth mentioning that, Banque Misr, as part of its digital transformation efforts, offers a bundle of various electronic banking services, including but not limited to; BM Wallet that allows customers to transfer any amount through mobile phones, as well as it being a secure channel for payments of bills and mobile line balance recharges.
