Moroccan reports said on Saturday that the Gambian referee Bakary Gassama would officiate Zamalek-Raja second leg in the CAF Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday.

CAF announced on Friday that the second leg would take place on Wednesday, November 4 at Cairo Stadium, while the finals would be held on 27th November at Borg Al-Arab Stadium.

The White Knights secured a 1-0 victory over the Green Devils in the first tie, while Al Ahly qualified for the final after defeating Wydad of Morocco 5-1 on aggregate.

According to "LE 360" newspaper, sources said that the Gambian Gassama, Al Ahly's hated referee, would run the second leg.

It also added that Moroccan Radwan Gayed would officiate the final, if Zamalek reached the final to face off their arch rivals Al Ahly.

CAF postponed the semi-finals, due to take place on Saturday, October 24, after 14 players in Raja contracted coronavirus.
