Bahrain, Israel Sign Joint Communique for Peaceful Relations

In Manama, delegations from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United States of America and the State of Israel met on Sunday to sign the historic joint communique between Bahrain and Israel.

The communique is on the establishment of diplomatic, peaceful and friendly relations between the two countries. Also, some memorandums of understanding were signed regarding the telecommunications, air services, economic and trade, commerce, movement of people as well as some other areas of mutual benefit for Bahrain and Israel.

Not to mention some working groups from both countries met to discuss some potential cooperation fields like the aviation, healthcare, technology and the agriculture fields.

The historic communique was facilitated by the Abraham Accords initiative of President Donald Trump. This follows the September 11th agreement between the two countries to start an era of cooperation. This step was followed by the signing of the Peace Declaration in Washington on September 15th to endorse the principles of the Abraham Accords.

The three countries the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United States and the State of Israel will join forces to build a strategic plan for the peace and prosperity in the Middle East and to reach an effective solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel believe that this communique and developments will help in building a future where all people can live together in peace and cooperation.

The two countries also express their gratitude and appreciation to the United States’ efforts in making this communique happen.
