BA to Participate at Alexandrian Heritage Week's Activities

Bibliotheca Alexandrina will participate in the 12th Alexandrian Heritage Week's activities that will take place between November 12-19.

Therefore, several lectures will be hosted at the BA such as "Alexandria's Slogan in Past and Present," and "The Contributions of "Wasf Misr" Book in Alexandria-Related Archaeology."

In addition, there will be an event dedicated to launching the Arabic translation of "The Greeks and the Making of Modern Egypt."

Moreover, Arab rock band Malaz will perform at the BA on the sidelines of the Alexandrian Heritage Week's activities.

In the same context, a number of workshops will be held and they will be dedicated to handcrafts such as accessories making and shaping copper.

It is worthy to mention that several BA's institutions will participate in organizing the activities of the event such as Alexandria and Mediterranean Civilization Research Center, and Writing and Script Center.
