The novel revolves around Issa, who, on his thirty-sixth birthday, after a desperate struggle with life that led to his crushing defeat, receives a gift from the last person he expects. This gift forces him to change every aspect of his life.

Having lost his passion for life and long been lost to himself, he is compelled to follow this new path, embarking on one experience after another, hoping to rediscover what he has lost. While doing so, his current reality confronts him, and he discovers that he must face his deepest fears.

Dawood appeared last onscreen in the 2024 romance feature "Al Hawa Sultan" and Abu Deif in the 2024 film "Leeh Teasheha Lewahdak".
