The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense denied that the armistice had been violated in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The ministry confirmed its commitment to the cease-fire, Alarabiya channel reported on Tuesday.

It is worth mentioning that Shushan Stepanyan, the Press Secretary of the Minister of Defence of Armenia said that the Azerbaijani forces bombed an Armenian military piece near the Iranian border with artillery and drones.

On her Facebook page today, Stepanyan added: "This morning, at 10:15 AM Armenia local time, Azerbaijan has again violated the ceasefire, and bombed an Armenian border post near the Iranian border with drones and rocket-propelled grenades."

Stepanyan stated that after Azerbaijan violated the armistice and bombed the state borders, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced that it has to respond in the direction of the Azerbaijani forces.

On Monday, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that Baku had violated the ceasefire. It noted that Azerbaijani forces fired at the unrecognized sites of the Karabakh Defense Forces in the northeastern section of the front line.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced that Baku fully complies with the terms of the ceasefire, accusing Armenia of violating the new ceasefire regime.
