African Union (AU) Commission Chairperson Moussa Faki held talks on Sunday with U.S. presidential envoy Chris Coons to dicuss issues of common interest.
In a statement following their meeting, Faki stressed the AU’s aspiration to strengthen strategic relations with the United States (U.S.).

He also expressed appreaciations, as U.S. presidential envoy affirmed his country’s commitment to partner with the AU in the search for durable solutions.
