Assala Nasri to Perform Live in Qatar on June 16

Syrian superstar Assala Nasri will perform at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), in Qatar, on Thursday, June 16.

She is set to present several of her popular and latest songs.

On the other hand, Nasri is she was preparing to release her Egyptian album on July 1.

The acclaimed singer also finished recording a Moroccan duet with singer Asmaa Lamnawar as well as had collaborated with singer Ramy Sabry on a duet.

Nasri released her last album “La Tastaslim” (Do not Give Up) in September 2021.

In the album, she cooperated with a large number of poets and composers, including Badr Abdel Mohsen, Azouf, Muhammad Abu Nimah, Yasser Buali, Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, and Saudi bin Muhammad al-Abdullah al-Faisal.

The superstar is one of the best female singers in the Middle East. She was born in Damascus to a middle-class couple, her father Moustafa Nasry, was a well-known Syrian composer and singer.

The megastar began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children’s songs when she was four years old.

She made her music debut with the 1991 album “Law Ta’rafou”. The album featured four songs in the oriental operatic tarab style.

It was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like “Ya Sabra Yana” and “Samehtak Ketir”.

She quickly proved her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talent such as Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.

Nasri booked herself a place along with the Arab singing legends among great albums through two decades.

Among her most famous albums are “Eghdab” (Get angry), “Wala tessadda” (Do not believe), “Alby beyertahlak (My heart feels at home with you), “Ya mag-noun” (Oh madman), “Moshtaa’a” (I am missing you), ” Yameen Allah” (I swear), “Add al-horouf” (As much as letters), “Hayaaty” (My life), “Noss haala” (A half situation), and “Kanoun kaifek” (The law of your fancy).
