Russian Cultural Center in Cairo Concludes Russia in Egyptian Colors

As a part of the Egypt-Russia Cultural Year, the Russian House’s Expo-Hall witnessed the closure of a Russian Egyptian Arts exhibition, which is held under the patronage of the Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem.

The art exhibition entitled ‘Russia in Egyptian Colors’was concluded on Saturday evening by a number of high-ranking artists and known Russian and Egyptian figures, with the participation of 60 tenanted artists and pioneers of arts from different Egyptian cities, in the exhibition hall of the center in Dokki.

Murad Gatin, director of the cultural activities in the center expressed his happiness with the high-level attendance of the Egyptian artists at the session testified to the growing relevance of the revitalized Centre.

“It was a stunning and great turnout, ” Gain revealed.

Meanwhile, the Director of Cultural Activities Sherif Gad and Ibrahim Ghazaleh, Russia in Egyptian Colors Jury Chairman thanked the artists participating in the exhibition for their seminal works as well as their fruitful contributions in enhancing Russian-Egyptian collaborations.

In conclusion, the art jury member Ahmed Bauomy, who participated in the Expo with his Russian Orientalist Valeria Kirpichenko painting, expressed his pleasure at taking part in it. Contributed by Ahmed Emam
