Culture Min. Inspects New Projects in Arts Academy

The Academy of Arts is an international building for the Film Institute will start receiving students from the next academic year. It is a bridge of Arts that connects buildings, academic fence libraries, the Heritage and Folklore Museum and the largest art school in the Middle East – it is ready for operation.

The Minister of Culture, Inas Abdel Dayem visited a number of the academy's new projects, including the new building of the High Institute of Cinema, the libraries of the academy, the Heritage and Folklore Museum and the School of Arts.

Abdel Dayem was accompanied by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Academy of Arts, Ghada Gbara, deputy of the Academy,  Hind Abdel Halim ,Deputy Governor of Giza for the  community service affairs.

Abdel Dayem declared that the academy is witnessing an integrated development process in the structural and educational levels, confirming that the ministry fully supports the necessary modernization processes.

The minister explained that the new building of the High Institute of Cinema was equipped with the latest technology in preparation for receiving students in the new academic year.

It is considered to be one of the most important film institutes in the world in addition to the School of Arts, which is the largest in the Middle East.

Additionally, new places are being prepared for operation at the Academy’s Wall, such as libraries and sales outlets for the Ministry of Culture's publications, as well as the Arts bridge that connects the academic buildings.

It is worthy to mention that the Museum of Heritage and Folklore includes models and figures of Egyptian folklore that express the unique Egyptian identity.

A study is being implemented to invest the open spaces to provide services for students, including sports fields and gyms.
