Arsenal legend Paul Merson warned Liverpool on Sunday from selling Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the upcoming period.

Salah's name has been related to a possible leave from the Reds during the last period, especially after looking unhappy following his replacement in the Reds' clash against Chelsea.

In his article in Daily Mail newspaper, Arsenal's legend said that "Mohamed Salah is invaluable for a club like Liverpool, so they cannot think of selling him."

"Salah is the Premier League's top scorer this season, although he plays in the position of the right wing. His scoring record speaks about him despite wasting many chances."

"There are a lot of rumors spread about his future, but if I were in charge of Liverpool, I would never think of losing him."
