Arab Parliament Stresses Support for President Sisi’s Approach at Arab, Regional Levels

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Assomi, expressed his support for all strategic issues that concern the Egyptian state, stressing that he appreciates and supports the significant and important efforts made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at all Arab, regional and international levels, praising the pioneering role he plays in defending Arab issues, in addition to the consolidation of the process of joint Arab action, as well as addressing many challenges that posed a threat to Arab national security.

The speaker of the Arab Parliament also stressed his keenness for the Egyptian Senate to be a participant in all the programs and events organized by the Arab Parliament, whether through training programs and diplomas, or in the context of benefiting from the partnerships recently launched by the Arab Parliament with some international and parliamentary institutions, led by the United Nations and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

For his part, Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, speaker of the Egyptian Senate, praised the serious and important moves made by the Arab Parliament, stressing the Egyptian Senate's keenness to strengthen tools aiming at enhancing coordination and continuous communication with the Arab Parliament to intensify cooperation on all issues that serve the interests of Arab peoples. He added that the Arab Parliament was able to extend bridges of understanding and dialogue with Arab parliaments and regional and international parliaments.
