Arab Parliament condemns Massacre of Houthis in Marib

The Arab Parliament (AP) condemned the bloody massacre committed by the terrorist Houthi militia in the Yemeni Governorate of Marib which resulted in the killing of 17 martyrs and the wounding of dozens of innocent civilians.

The AP reiterated that these terrorist crimes which represent war crimes and crimes against humanity, are imprescriptible and require urgent international prosecution of perpetrators; adding that this massacre represent an extension of the crimes and terrorist attacks perpetuated by the Houthi coup militia against innocent Yemeni civilians notably in Marib, which consist a grave violation and severe disregard for all humanitarian norms and principles and international laws in particular international humanitarian law that ensures the protection of civilians.

The AP called on the international community for prompt intervention and to take decisive action to stop these terrorist crimes committed by the Houthi coup militia, which reflect its persistence to undermine all regional and international efforts to solve the Yemeni crisis politically and continue its blatant defiance to the international community.

The AP conveyed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Yemeni people and the families of the victims of this terrorist massacre, and its wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured.

The AP emphasized its full solidarity and support with the Republic of Yemen in all its measures to confront the crimes and terrorist acts carried out by the Houthi coup militia.
