On Sunday, the Arab League strongly condemned the terrorist assaults carried out by Iran-backed Houthi militants against the UAE on Monday.

Three cruise missiles were fired at a fuel store of state oil giant ADNOC in Musaffah and a construction site near Abu Dhabi airport, according to the UAE. The incident resulted in the deaths of three persons and the injuries of six more.

On Sunday, the Arab League held an unusual meeting in Cairo for its permanent representatives to discuss the attacks.

They denounced the Houthis' terrorist attacks and stated that they will stand by the UAE against all threats to its security and stability.

They went on to say that the assaults on Abu Dhabi were a flagrant violation of international law and a serious threat to important civilian facilities, energy supply, and global economic stability.

Arab League also pose a threat to regional and international peace as well as Arab national security, according to them.

The rallygoers applauded the countries' and regional and international organisations' solidarity with the UAE.

They urged the UN and its Security Council to step up and take a clear and united position against the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

They asked them to deter and combat the Houthis' ongoing atrocities in Yemen, as well as their purposeful obstruction of humanitarian aid delivery in the nation.
