Arab Contractors, Alex. Uni. Ink Agreement on Building Faculties in Chad

The Arab Contractors Company, one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa, and Alexandria University signed on Sunday a contract agreement on constructing buildings of the university's branch in Chad.

Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company Eng. Mohsen Salah and President of Alexandria University Dr. Essam Elkordi inked the agreement today.

Under this agreement, the Arab Contractors will establish the first phase of the faculties of veterinary medicine and agriculture in the Chadian capital of N'Djamena.

In this score, Salah expressed his happiness for cooperation with Alexandria University, saying the excellent reputation of Arab Contractors in Chad will contribute to implementing this project successfully, a matter will improve the education process in Chad in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to open horizons of cooperation with the African countries.

In turn, El Kordi pointed out that the university's relations with Africa began in the 60s through cooperation with a number of African universities, adding the university offers 100 scholarships for the Nile Basin countries every year.

The inking ceremony was attended by Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Hisham Jaber, Dean of Medicine Faculty Dr. Wael Nabil, Vice Chairman of the company Emam Afifi, and Head of Africa Sector at the company Ibrahim Mabrouk.
