The release date for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania“ has been delayed.

The third installment in the “Ant-Man” franchise is set to open on February 17, 2023, instead of July 28, 2023.

There is little information about the plot of the upcoming movie, but it is known that it will deal with time travel.

The Quantum Dimension was introduced in the 2018 movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and played a huge part in “Avengers: Endgame“, allowing the Avengers to perform time heists, collect Infinity Stones, and revert Thanos' Snap.

“Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” sees Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer returning for the sequel.

In addition, Kathryn Newton has replaced Avengers: Endgame’s Emma Fuhrmann as Cassie.

The movie will also feature Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), a time-traveler villain introduced in Loki’s season finale.

Peyton Reed is directing the third installment from a script by Jeff Loveness.

"Doctor Strange 2” is now the next MCU title set to debut; it will open in theaters on May 6.
